Volunteer at Franklin!
We have many different ways to help support our school and become a Franklin Middle School volunteer. Whether you are interested in becoming a teacher or just want to dedicate a few hours of your time a week, we would love to have you.
The process to become a volunteer is now online! Go to
http://volmps.mpls.k12.mn.us
and click on the "Apply Today" link on the right-hand side of the page.
All forms must be completed three weeks prior to the volunteering time.
If school staff WILL be present
throughout your volunteer time, you must fill out the "MPS Volunteer Information Form" (see below) and/or apply online.
If there is a possibility that you may be with a student
when school staff is NOT present,
you must also fill out a "Criminal Record Authorization and Release Form" (see below). This form MUST be notarized and returned to the address at the top of the form or brought in and signed in front of the volunteer coordinator at FMS.
Contact the Franklin Community Liaison Jeanie Johnson with any questions or concerns that you may have.
